1. Static: one doctor, one sentence, one photo — the longest-running ad here (108 days)
“The list of things I recommend is pretty short, but AG1 is absolutely on it.”
- Structure
- A single tall photo: Dr Rangan Chatterjee laughing on a sofa in a denim shirt, a glass of AG1 in his hand → his quote in large serif type across the middle, “The list of things I recommend is pretty short, but AG1 is absolutely on it.” → his name and “AG1 Member since 2019” at the bottom right. The headline is “Recommended by Dr Rangan Chatterjee”, and the copy opens with the question he says he hears most, “I'm doing everything right, why do I still feel like something's missing?”, before offering a free Welcome Kit. A wider layout of the same quote went live a day later and has run 107 days.
- Why it works
- A static has one frame to do everything, so this one carries three things: a face, a sentence that ranks the product (a short list, and it's on it), and “Member since 2019” to show he uses it. The copy then opens on the reader's own frustration. Compare the military video below: a static has to make its case in the frame, while that video keeps one line fixed and lets motion do the stopping.
- Make it yours
- Pick one person your customers trust who really uses your product, and get one sentence from them that ranks it (“the list is short, but this is on it”).
- Put the quote over a relaxed photo of them with your product, add their name and how long they've used it, and open the copy with your customer's frustration in their words.
- Make it a static ad: paste your product link, and swap in your person, their quote and your product.
