1. Little Dog Co.: “This is a harness. This is a corgi harness.” (69 days)
“This is a harness. This is a corgi harness.”
- Structure
- A plain white square split in two: on the left a corgi in an ordinary red harness, captioned “This is a harness.”; on the right the same corgi in Little Dog Co.'s blue harness, captioned “This is a corgi harness.” → “Built for corgis. Not “most dogs.”” in smaller type underneath → the Little Dog Co. wordmark at the bottom. The headline is “Built for Corgis”, and the copy explains the fit: “Standard harnesses were built for average dogs. Corgis aren't average.” — long bodies, short legs, broad chests, “no riding up, no rubbing, no slipping loose.”
- Why it works
- Owners of one breed recognise their dog at a glance, so the ad picks its audience in the first second and doesn't try to talk to anyone else. The side-by-side makes the claim without a feature list: same dog, same pose, one harness that is just a harness and one made for this body. The copy then names the three fit problems corgi owners already know. A video with the same copy has run 40 days.
- Make it yours
- Pick the one customer your product fits better than the generic option (a breed, a body type, a use) and name them on the image.
- Put the generic product and yours side by side on the same subject, with one short caption under each.
- Make it a static ad: paste your product link, and swap in your customer, the generic version and your product.
