The comment sticker does the targeting. “Reply to Grace23's comment” over “Love RYZE but it's so expensive 😭 can you guys lower the price??” in TikTok's reply chrome, above a creator looking at her phone. Anyone who has priced RYZE and balked recognises the sentence before they recognise an ad; the “Paid partnership” label sits lower in the same frame.
She reads it aloud, then refuses to argue. The spoken line repeats the sticker (“Love Rise, but it's so expensive. Can you guys lower the price?” in the machine transcript's spelling) and is followed not by a defence but by “I'm about to blow your mind right now.” The objection is accepted as fair, which is what lets the next 57 seconds sound like good news instead of a rebuttal.
No sticker, no commenter: the objection is addressed to everyone. Both Everyday Dose cuts open on the same spoken line, “You said it was too expensive.” The plural “you” drops the fiction of a single commenter and treats the complaint as something the whole audience said, which is easier to claim and impossible to check.
This pattern is one of dozens that stop the scroll — browse the ad hook library, with the formula behind each →
Nine beats in the order a viewer meets them: RYZE's 1:00 creator reply first, then the two Everyday Dose cuts (1:07 Labor Day, 1:06 back-to-school), then the page each one lands on. The spoken quotes are from machine transcripts of the ads, verbatim, including the transcript's spelling of RYZE as “Rise”. Each beat carries the move you can reuse.
Read the objection backTranscript · Hook
The first spoken words are the complaint, unedited, from a comment sticker on screen. Nothing is said in the product's favour until the viewer has heard their own reason for not buying.
“Love Rise, but it's so expensive. Can you guys lower the price?”
Steal itOpen on [the exact words your customers use to say no], read out, not paraphrased. Paraphrase sounds like marketing; the verbatim line sounds like a person.
The sale is the replyTranscript · Reframe
The discount isn't introduced as a promotion but as a coincidence that answers the comment, so the viewer's objection becomes the reason the ad exists.
“You literally commented this at the perfect time because Rise is having a sale right now and it's insane.”
Steal itFrame [the offer] as the response to the complaint, not as a calendar event. Only do it while the offer is actually live.
One “free” at a timeTranscript · Prove
Each gift is held up and named separately, with the same one-word verdict after each, so the bundle is felt as a count rather than a single line item. The video cuts between an open gift box and the creator on each item.
“This full size vanilla creamer, free. The frother to make your drink extra creamy, free. Acacia jar to store your mushroom coffee, free.”
Steal itName [each item] on its own beat with the same verdict after it. If you later total them, total them at what each one sells for alone on your own site.
Same move, collective “you”Transcript · Hook
Everyday Dose runs the read-back without a commenter. The Labor Day cut opens on a POV shot of hands holding a white box stamped with the gold Everyday Dose logo on a marble counter, captioned “You said it was”; the back-to-school cut's cover frame is an empty kitchen, and the video opens on a man in a cap who then holds up a whiteboard with “TOO EXPENSIVE” written on it. Both cuts speak the same first line.
“You said it was too expensive. So for our Labor Day sale, we answered and dropped the price up to 70% off of our mushroom coffee.”
Steal itIf you don't have a real comment to show, say the objection as [what we keep hearing]. Don't invent a named commenter to carry it.
Re-raise it after every rungTranscript · Escalate
After the discount, the objection is voiced again as a question, and answered with another gift, three or four times. Each repetition makes the viewer's “no” the thing being outbid, and the mock reluctance (“Okay, fine”) turns the brand into the party conceding.
“Not enough? Fine, we will throw in our entire VIP starter kit for completely free as well.”
“Still not enough? Okay, fine, I guess we'll throw in our Yeti-inspired tumbler for completely free as well.”
Steal itAfter each addition, ask the objection again: “[Still too expensive?]” Stop at three rungs; a fourth reads as a bit.
Collapse to one sumTranscript · Prove
The rungs are summed into a single “worth X for Y” line, which the landing page then prints as a percentage.
“In total, with everything we're giving you, you're getting $167 worth of product for only $49.”
Steal itClose the ladder with one number, but anchor it on [the price the customer pays from the second order on], not on a total that includes gift valuations.
The friend who paid full priceTranscript · Urgency
RYZE's creator makes the deadline personal: the cost of waiting is told as her own mistake, not as a countdown.
“And last year I actually missed it and paid full price like an idiot.”
Steal itTell the cost of waiting as [a real miss of your own]. It only works if the sale genuinely comes round that rarely; this one doesn't (see the flags).
Answer the literal questionTranscript · Close
The video ends by answering the comment in its own terms, and turns the commenter's future complaint into the deadline.
“So, to answer your question, yes, they lowered the price.”
“Go, go, go, go, go before you comment this again next year.”
Steal itEnd on [yes / no + the answer to the exact question asked], then point the CTA at the objection: buy now so you're not saying it again.
Renewal next to the buttonLP · Close
Everyday Dose's page puts the recurring price directly under the checkout button, alongside the guarantee, so the subscription isn't a surprise at checkout. It is the one piece of this funnel that tells the viewer what the product costs after the gifts are gone.
“Love it or your money back”
“Renews at $66/mo”
Steal itPrint [the renewal price] beside the button. If the read-back promised a lower price, this is where the viewer checks whether you meant it.
⚠ Check these before you copy it
- “That's literally $100 worth of products you're not paying for, and then they're doing 40% off on top of that.” The page this RYZE ad points to today headlines “Gifts worth $40”, and its fine print says the sale discount “includes the price of free gifts”, i.e. the gifts are counted inside the 40%, not on top of it. The video has run since May 23 and the page is now a “FALL RESET SALE”; we don't hold the bundle contents behind the page's product picker, so we can't say which gifts actually ship with an order today.
- “This only happens once a year. Like, once a year.” Said in an ad that has been live for 124 days, pointing at a page whose fine print sets the deadline with a template (“by currentDate at 11:59pm PST” in the page source) and whose “Offer reserved” timer sits beside a “Need more time?” button.
- “Reply to Grace23's comment” We don't hold the original comment and can't confirm it exists. The frame carries a “Paid partnership” label, so the person answering is a paid creator, not a customer; the RYZE page's own primary text says nothing about price at all.
- “BEST DEAL - 70% SAVINGS” The 70% is $49 against a struck-through $167. The same 60-serving box “Renews at $66/mo”, and the page labels the free kit “+$100 VALUE”, so most of the $167 is gift valuation, led by “BREATHWORK BY OTHERSHIP Free $65”. Against the $66 renewal, the first box is about 26% cheaper, not 70%. (The page's itemised gift prices add up to $177, not $100.)
- “we're also giving away our premium tumbler, normally $20” The Labor Day video prices the tumbler at $20; the landing page it points to lists “16OZ TUMBLER Free $30”.
- “62% OFF + FREE Gifts 🎁” The back-to-school ad's headline. Its landing page, read on Sep 24, says the kit comes “FREE for Labor Day” and prints “BEST DEAL - 70% SAVINGS”; the 62% figure appears nowhere on it.
- “This only happens once a year.” The Labor Day cut says this and, in the same script, “we haven't run a deal this good since Black Friday”. Both Everyday Dose sales went live the same day (Aug 26), and the Labor Day ad was still delivering on Sep 24, 17 days after Labor Day.
- “CLINICALLY PROVEN RESULTS” The footnote under the numbers reads “M7 survey · N=1,145 · NPS 9.21/10 · 66% perfect 10s”: a customer survey, including “95% Shared with friends”, presented under a “90 Day Study” heading. Nearby, “Roughly 3 in 4 subscribers notice the difference.” carries no source.
- “This deal is actually so good that we're losing money on every order” From the back-to-school cut. We don't hold anything that could confirm it. It is said about the first order of a subscription whose page reads “Renews at $66/mo”.

Love Rise, but it's so expensive. Can you guys lower the price? I'm about to blow your mind right now. You literally commented this at the perfect time because Rise is having a sale right now and it's insane.
They're giving away all these gifts completely free, not samples, full products. This full size vanilla creamer, free. The frother to make your drink extra creamy, free. Acacia jar to store your mushroom coffee, free. And this cute acacia spoon and scoop, also free. All that, plus two full size mushroom coffee bags.
That's literally $100 worth of products you're not paying for, and then they're doing 40% off on top of that. So you're basically getting everything for less than half the price, plus $100 worth of free stuff. This only happens once a year. Like, once a year. And last year I actually missed it and paid full price like an idiot.
So, to answer your question, yes, they lowered the price. They lowered it so much that it doesn't even make sense and it's not going to last long. Go, go, go, go, go before you comment this again next year.

You said it was too expensive. So for our Labor Day sale, we answered and dropped the price up to 70% off of our mushroom coffee. Not enough? Fine. We threw in a free sample pack of our protein coffee, a free frother, free metal scoop, and several other free gifts. Still not enough? All our mushroom coffee is still made with 100% Arabica beans, lab tested for mold and other impurities, still has lion's mane for improved memory and cognition, chaga for your gut, L-theanine for extended focus and lowering cortisol, and collagen for your hair, skin, and nails. Energy with no crash, no gut issues, no junk. Perfect for busy mornings, summer travel, or just finally making the switch off jittery coffee without feeling like you're giving something up.
This $49 deal on $167 worth of stuff is a little too generous, and we'll probably sell out fast since we haven't run a deal this good since Black Friday. Grab your bundle before the deal and the free gifts are gone. This only happens once a year.
